Fly Quiet and Green is part of Heathrow’s noise reduction plan, which aims to make Heathrow a better neighbour by being a quieter and cleaner airport
Fly Quiet and Green
Fly Quiet and Green is one of the steps Heathrow is taking to reduce noise levels. The aim is to further encourage airlines to use quieter and cleaner aircraft and fly them in the quietest way.
The league table
The league table is published every quarter comparing the top 50 airlines (according to the number of flights to and from Heathrow in the given quarter) across the seven different metrics.
How we calculate
Each metric is assigned a Red, Amber or Green status based on performance bands for that indicator. Operators at the top will typically have more ‘green scores’ than those at the bottom.
